On July 16, according to China Energy News, China Southern Power Grid completed the acquisition of part of the equity of the Bashi and Zankeldi wind farms and 500 kV supporting transmission projects in Uzbekistan. The project is the largest wind power project under construction in Central Asia and is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2025. At present, the Central Asian region continues to increase investment in renewable energy, and driven by the Belt and Road Initiative, China's wind power enterprises may usher in new opportunities to go overseas.
